Bricks, blocks, pavers

The diversity of bricks format and type leads to achieve manufacture installations specific for each production unit.

The manufacture method is different for each product family, from facing bricks, pavers, Klinkers, ventilating bricks to blocks.
Apart from soft mud bricks unitarily moulded, the clay cakes at the end of the extruder will have to be cut.
This cutting operation is performed by different installations :

• Primary cutter
• Multiwire cutter with or without chamfering device
• Universal cutter…

Roof tiles

Roof tiles manufacture is performed according to the products family to realize.
For stretched tiles like spanish tiles, the cutting operation allows to directly make the shaping.
Some roof tiles are stamped (flat roof tiles, biber roof tiles…). The goal is to mainly form the lugs of the tiles that will enable to fix them onto the batten of the roof. 
For grooved roof tiles, the shaping is made by cakes pressing previoulsy cut after extrusion.

The most widespread tiles press are the rotary presses.
Their capacity vary from 2, 3 or 4 tiles with a big mould by press stroke.

Moulds can be made of steel, resin or plaster according to the aspect required.
