Company history
Ceric, over 40 years of experience and know-how in clay and technical ceramics industries.
CERIC was founded in 1960 by a team of specialized engineers stemming from the "Centre Technique des Tuiles et briques" (Technical centre for roof tiles and bricks) the realization of equipment and the development of technologies for clay building materials, and the design of new production units. CERIC was and is still a major player in the evolution of this technique by developing and controlling each one of the technologies necessary to this business:
- Raw material processing and products forming,
- Industrial thermics: dryers, kilns, burners,
- Automatic handling and robotics,
- Measurements, PLCs and industrial data processing for plants supervision.
CERIC first started in France by showing its capacity to control and adapt the modern technologies so as to provide new solutions. Within the context of acknowledged parterships, innovations supplied by CERIC enabled its customers to reach leader positions on their respective markets.
CERIC then exported its technology and innovations to Europe, Australia and the USA. As it developed, technical and commercial offices have been created in Spain, Italy, North Africa, Russia and Ukraine.
